Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 July 2026 · Applies to babyphone.online

Important safety notice: BabyPhone.online is an aid, not a replacement for in-person supervision of your baby. Connections can fail for reasons outside our control (network coverage, battery, browser limits). Never rely on this service as your only means of monitoring a child, and never use it in situations where a missed alert could lead to harm.

1. Who provides the service

BabyPhone.online is provided by Arcana Synthetica, Harlingen, The Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 42115786, VAT [VAT ID]. Contact: info@babyphone.online. By using the service you agree to these terms.

2. The service

BabyPhone.online lets you use two of your own devices as a baby monitor in the browser. Audio and video stream directly between your devices (peer-to-peer); we provide the web app and connection-helper services (pairing, STUN/TURN). The free tier is provided as-is and may be changed at any time. Paid ("Plus") features are described at the time of purchase.

3. Acceptable use

4. Subscriptions (Plus)

5. Availability and warranty

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service depends on your devices, browsers, and networks, which are outside our control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

6. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including liability for intent or gross negligence). Subject to that, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or €50 if you use only the free tier). We are not liable for indirect damage, including damage resulting from a failed or interrupted connection — see the safety notice above.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes affecting paid subscriptions, we will notify you in advance; if you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected, and you may also use the European ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
